Setting up Google reCAPTCHA

I’ve had to do this for clients and myself numerous times. Unfortunately I constantly forget the process so putting it here for myself and anyone else who might find it useful.

1. Set up a Google Account if you don’t have one already

2. When you are logged in visit this site (link to directly create your setup)

3. Fill in the form

   1. Follow instructions from the requesting platform

   2. Since I’ve done this mainly for Squarespace I’ll use their requirements in the image below

3. When you’re ready click Submit and copy/paste the Site Key & Secret Key to the appropriate locations

4. To go back to this at any time / make edits click this link (edits can be made to an existing instance by clicking the gear icon)
